Places to visit in Tirumala and Tirupati

The famous Tirumala Hill is about at the height of 3,200 feet. Its seven peaks represent seven hoods of Adisesha. Many Hindu pilgrims undertake the journey to Tirumala on foot. Some climb the hill barefooted. However there are other facilities for tourists as well. One can take a bus ride or even a taxi ride if it is in your budget to take you to the top of the hill. Tirumala even offers bus services which would take you to Tirupati direct.

Since it is a very popular tourist destination the accommodation facilities are very accessible. There are many guest houses and some even offer minimal rent. While there are some who offer free stays for the pilgrims.

You may have visited many pilgrim centers, but you will find nothing like this on earth. Even with the fleeting glimpse you catch of Lord Balaji, you would get an immense pleasure and memorable satisfaction. This temple would appear to the only place of major attraction. A feeling of being blessed and graced comes over to you naturally once you are on the territory of Lord Balaji.

The food offered here is generally a humble meal of a pilgrim. You would find amazing shops offering distinct commodities to take back as your traveling souvenir. But apart from the decorative items and the lord idols what you take back is the memory which can never be replaced by any other pilgrimage.
