During the first day of your India trip on Holi, you will visit; Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjib, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, and Taj Ghat. You will have a rickshaw ride in the bustling bazaars at Chandi Chowk, and tour the Khari Bali spice market.

Red Fort – This monument is also known as “Lal Quila’ it represents the zenith of Mughal empire creativity, which was initiated by Shan Jahan in 1526. This architectural landmark represents fusion of Persian, Islamic, and Hindu architectural styles.

Jama Masjaid – Is the largest Mosque in India, and is famously know as Masji-I-Jahan-Numa. This Mughal architectural marvel was constructed by Emperor Shan Jahan. They began construction in 1644 and finished in 1658. It is made of red sandstone, and it offers a place of prayer for more then 25.000 people at one time.

Qutub Minar – This monument was constructed in 1193 by Qutub-Ud-Din Aikbar, and is famously known as “Victory tower”. It is a part of the Qutv complex, which lies at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot. It is surrounded by lushish gardens, which make it a perfect spot for tourists from around the world, since it is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Humayun’s Tomb – This mausoleum was constructed in 1570 by Mughal emperor first wife and chief consort Empress Bega Begum, and designed by Mirak Miriam Ghiyas. It is the first garden Tomb in India, which has inspired several major architectural buildings constructed later.

Chandi Chowk – It is a bustling market full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vivid saris. The sparrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets.

Agra Fort – The Agra fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra also known as the Red Fort. Made out of red sandstone, on the banks of the Yamuna river. Rebuilt by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed in 1573, it served as the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb – Is a Mughal mausoleum, often described as a “Jewel Box”, and sometimes referred to as “Bachcha Taj” or the “Baby Taj”. It is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal – literally meaning “Crown Palace”. It is a Islamic ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the Yamuna river. It was commissioned in 1631 by Mughal Emperor Shan Jahan to house the tomb of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.The construction project employed some 20,000 artisans under the guidance of a board of architects led by the court architect to the emperor, Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being “The Jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world heritage”.

March, 2026: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

Sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Have breakfast back at your hotel. Then head out to Jaipur after your Taj Mahal Tour and along the way you will visit the abandoned citadel of Akbar Fatehpur Sikri, and Abhaneri Step wells. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay

Fatehpur – is a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The city is situated between the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. The city is named after Badu Fateh Chandra, who helped Rani Lakshmi Bai fight for their freedom.

Abhaneri Step Wells – Also known as Chand Baori. The water of this massive, ornate step well from the 8th and 9th centuries was reached by 3,500 steps.

March, 2026: Jaipur (HOLI FESTIVAL)

The fifth day of your India trip on Holi is free to enjoy the festival of colors. You will have Holi with us at our home. In the evening, drive back to your hotel to get washed up and changed. Overnight stay.

March, 2026: Jaipur

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of the Amber Fort. You can ride an elephant there, or you can walk up by yourself. You will also visit; Jai Mandir, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal.

Jantar Mantar – Is an assembly of stone built astronomical instruments. They were designed by the naked eye. There were 5 Jantar Mantars in India, all of them were built for Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The instruments can be used with an accuracy of 2 seconds by a skilled observer to measure the time of day.

Hawa Mahal – Is built from red and pink sandstone, it is on the edge of the City Palace and extends to the Zenana, or women’s chambers. It was built in 1799 by the Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the grandson of the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of the city of Jaipur.

March, 2026: Jaipur – Jodhpur

In the morning you will drive to Jodhpur on your seventh day of Rajasthan tour. Once there you will be checked into your hotel, enjoy a half day of sightseeing which will include; Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada. In the evening you will be free to take a walk around the clock tower area.

Mehrangarh Fort – covers an area of 1,200 acres. It was constructed in 1459 by Rajput ruler Ram Jodha, though most of the existing structure is from the 17th century. Inside there are several palaces known for their intricate cravings.

Jaswant Thada – Is a cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It serves as a cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar. It is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble, which are extremely thin and polished so that they emit a warm glow when illuminated by the sun.

After breakfast you will leave for sightseeing in Jaisalmer. You will see; Jaisalmer Fort, Nathmal Jai Ki Haveli, Gadsisar Lake, Sam sand dunes in the evening, and take a camel ride to appreciate the desert landscape. Have an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer Fort – One of the very few remaining living forts left in the world. Nearly one fourth of the city’s population still resides within the fort. For the better part of 860-year history, the fort was the city of Jaisalmer.

Nathmal Jai Ki Haveli – Privately owned 19th-century Haveli known for ornate exterior carvings and unique architecture.

Gadsisar Lake – also known as Gadaria Lake. It was built by the founder of Jaisalmer, Kind Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD and was later rebuilt by Gadsi Singh around 1367 AD.

Sam Sand Dunes – some of the most beautiful sand dunes located in the midst of the Thar Desert, and amount the most famous ones in Rajasthan.

March, 2026: Jaisalmer – Bikaner

Drive to Bikaner and get checked into the hotel. You will also see Junagarh Fort and Karni Mata Temple.

Junagarh Fort – Was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or “Old Fort” in the early 20th century when the ruling family moved to Lalharh Palace outside the fort limits.

Karni Mata Temple – Also known as Madh Deshnoke. It is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Karni Mata at the town of Deshnoke. It has become the most important pilgrimage site for devotees of Charani Sagatis after access to Hinglaj was restricted following the partition of India.

March, 2026: Bikaner – Mandawa

  1. Haveli’s Tour

Drive to Mandawa and check in at the proposed hotel. You will be taken for a guided tour of Nawalgarh, Mandawa, Fatehpur famous for their Havelis (havelis meaning mansions) which were once havelis of rich merchants. Mandawa and the surrounding region is like an open art gallery where you may see havelies decorated with beautiful paintings and carved doors and windows.

March, 2026: Mandawa – Delhi and Departure

  1. Departure

You will be driven back to Delhi international airport on the last day of our Rajasthan Cultural Tour Package. Then, you will board a flight back home, or to your next destination.
