Cycling in India has always been a very thrilling experience. Rajasthan, the land of forts and palaces, offers you the ideal chance to travel around the some of the most offbeat and interesting places. This trip takes you to places like Pushkar, Fort Khejarla, Dhakri Rawla, Jojawar, Eklinji (Devigarh fort) and Udaipur, which are interspersed with some very interesting and remote villages.

1

Jaipur Arrival and Drive to Pushkar

  1. Meals: Lunch, Dinner
  2. Hotel Stay

Upon arrival at Jaipur airport, you will be met by our company representative. Later you will be transferred to the car and leave for Pushkar. On arrival, you will check-in the hotel for relax. Rest of the day is at leisure. You can enjoy camel safari. Overnight stay in hotel at Pushkar.

Fort Khejarla

  2. Fort Khejarla

Have breakfast at the hotel and drive till Merta ( a very close town to avoid the highway. Then start cycling towards Fort Khejarla. This is a long biking trail and you will go through a plethora of colorful villages and hamlets. You will go through villages like Beetan and Ransi Gaon. This is a plain and flat so it is more easy and comfortable for cycling toward village khejarla. Later drive towards Fort Khejarla, which was constructed for Thakur Gopal Dasji in 1611 A.D, who granted Jagirs (fiefdoms) of Khejarla for his great achievements in war, defending the frontiers of Marwar against Mughal rulers of Delhi. Dhakri Rawla

Have breakfast at the hotel and cycle towards Dhakri Rawla. You will pass through the outskirts of Jodhpur. Hanging acacias, small shrines and village huts of the hamlets close to Dhakri are extremely picturesque. Check in at our small Guest house, you can relax or know more about the history from the family itself. This is truly an extraordinary pit stop. Evening you can visit Sojat Fort which is 12km from Dhakri and back.

Jojawar

Have breakfast at the hotel, then start cycling towards Jojawar through Desuri. The whole landscape is very interesting with Aravalli hills in the east and broken rocky hills interspersed with scrub forests & farms. The sheep, cattle & camel herders – Rebaris are an ethnic group and you can visit their hamlets to get a real idea about Indian culture. Overnight stay in hotel at Jojawar.

Eklingji (Devigarh Fort)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will start cycling towards Ride past places like Rajsamand to see the big lake. During the trip, you will pass through greener landscape, mountains and small villages. On arrival, check-in the 18th-century Devi Garh fort in the village of Delwara. Later you can visit thousand years old Saas Bahu and Eklingji temples. Overnight stay in hotel at Eklingji.

Udaipur

Have breakfast at the hotel and leave for Udaipur. Ride past greener landscape, mountains and small villages like Ghasiyar and Borodiya. The journey is undulating and gives a chance to witness the rural life around Udaipur. On arrival at the this place, you will check-in the hotel for relax. Later enjoy boat ride in the Lake Pichola. Overnight stay in hotel at Udaipur.

Udaipur and Departure

Have breakfast at the hotel and leave for sightseeing to explore major attractions of this “City of Lakes” (Udaipur) – a guided walk to Jagdish Temple and then leave for City Palace – This Palace was built in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II and situated on the east side of Lake Pichola. The royal complex of City Palace has many gardens, a museum and other historical buildings. On completion of the sightseeing, you will be dropped at Udaipur airport to board your flight to Delhi for onward journey.
