Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi you will be welcomed by our English-speaking representative, who will ensure that your transfer to your hotel is seamless, as you ride through the bustling Delhi traffic in an air-conditioned car to the hotel of your choice. Check into hotel for overnight stay.

Breakfast at leisure before heading off to explore Delhi, with its bustling markets, vibrant street life, and amazing monuments, including:

  • Red Fort – this magnificent sandstone monument, referred to locally as “Lal Quila” and commissioned by the fifth Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan in 1639. It represents the apex of Mughal creativity and is a blend of Persian, Islamic and Hindu styles.
  • Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India that can house up to 25,000 people in a single prayer session. This is another of Shah Jahan’s creations, also built in local sandstone between 1644 and 1658.
  • Qutub Minar, also known as “The Tower of Victory” is a much earlier monument, constructed c.1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, surrounded by a lush green garden.
  • Humayun’s Tomb – India’s first great dynastic mausoleum, surrounded by gardens and built in 1570 by Mughal emperor Humayun’s wife, Bega Begum. Overnight stay in Delhi.

    Delhi – Agra

    After breakfast depart for Agra with your driver. He will point out the interesting sights on the way and on arrival, you will check into your hotel to prepare for sightseeing.
    First stop will be the famous red sandstone Agra Fort, on the banks of the River Yamuna, built by Emperor Akbar in the year 1566.
    And later, you will see the Taj Mahal. Ranked as one of the world’s top landmarks, you will marvel at this white marble edifice created by Shah Jahan for his beloved late wife.
    Overnight stay in Agra.

    Please Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

    Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

    A chance to visit Taj Mahal again at sunrise and see Shah Jahan’s magnificent creation in the mellow morning light.
    Return to your hotel for breakfast and checkout and depart for the unique desert city of Fatehpur Sikri, which served as the capital city of the Mughal Empire for 10 years, when Emperor Akbar was in power in the 16th century. It also houses one of the largest mosques in India – the Jama Masjid and has a memorable Victory Gate.

    From here you will head off to Jaipur to check in to the hotel of your choice.

    Breakfast at hotel before setting off to see the city sights:

  • Amber Fort, also known as “Amer Fort” perched high on a hill overlooking Maota Lake, built by ruling Raja Man Singh I in the 16th century. You can ride an elephant, or take a car/jeep to access the hill-top fortress that showcases the lives and styles of former rulers and includes the world famous “Sheesh Mahal” or Hall of Mirrors.
  • Jal Mahal – a spectacular red, sandstone, water palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
  • Jantar Mantar, the largest and best preserved observatory in India, built by Jai Singh II in the 18th century
  • Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of the Winds” is one Jaipur’s most photographed landmarks, with more than 950 small windows in its façade and often compared to a beehive, built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799.
  • And just around the corner, the City Palace – the world-famous complex conceived by Sawai Jai Singh II – featuring unique courtyards and gardens; a museum that will enlighten you about life in Rajasthan. Make sure you visit PitamNawas Chowk with its four magnificent gates depicting the seasons.

    Jaipur – Ranthambore

    Leisurely breakfast at the hotel before departing forRanthambore. On arrival, check-in at your chosen hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Overnight stay Ranthambore.

    Ranthambore

    Early morning jungle safari departure inRanthambore National Park. The park is home to tigers, as well as many other wild animals and exotic birds. Return to hotel for breakfast and a chance to set off again for a second jungle safari – this time to a different part of the park, where you may see animals and birds that you did not see earlier in the day. Overnight stay in the resort.

    *Please note– Usually, Ranthambore National Park remains closed in Monsoon season (1st July to 30th September)

    Ranthambore – Bhainsrorgarh Fort

    After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will take you toBhainsrorgarh Fort. On arrival, check-in at hotel for a day of relaxation and overnight stay.

    Bhainsrorgarh Fort

    After breakfast, you will have the chance to explore the Bhainsrorgarh Fort complex before leaving on a morning safari in Mukundarah Hills National Park. And later in the day you will visit the Badoli temple complex and enjoy a sunset jeep safari. Overnight stay at your fort hotel.

    Bhainsrorgarh Fort – Udaipur

    1. Hotel Stay

    Depart for Udaipur after breakfast and enjoy the countryside as you head towards the city of lakes. On arrival, check in to hotel. Evening at leisure to take a boat ride on Lake Pichola or explore the streets of Udaipur. Overnight stay Udaipur.

    After breakfast at your hotel leave for a sightseeing tour of the city that includes Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Saheliyon-kibari and Fateh Sagar Lake. Overnight stay Udaipur.

    Udaipur – Dungarpur

    1. Hotel Stay

    Depart for Dungarpur after breakfast– a leisurely drive through southern Rajasthan to your next lakeside town, where you will check-in to your hotel on arrival and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

    Breakfast at hotel followed by sightseeing to include the remarkable Udai Bilas Palace overlooking the lake; Srinathji Temple; the Juna Mahal; Gap Sagar Lake, where you are likely to see many different birds; and the Beneswar Dam. Overnight stay Dungarpur.

    Dungarpur – Ahmedabad and Departure

    After breakfast, your driver will take you to Ahmedabad Airport to board your connecting flight to your next destination or your international flight home.
