About Udaipur

A small town which is situated at the border of Rangilla Rajasthan as well as Garvi Gujarat is Udaipur. This beautiful town was founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1568. In the sixteenth century was ruled by Maharan Pratap who is well known for its bravery as well as justice. Maharana Pratap was responsible for the historical as well as memorable developments made in Udaipur.This town is very beautiful as well as considered as romantic city. Places to visit in Udaipur

The largest Palace of Rajasthan is located at Udaipur which is known as City Palace. This palace is architecturally majestic and comprices of beautiful courtyards, terraces, balconies, pavilions, rooms as well as corridors. The main entrance to this palace is by the triple arched gate referred to as tripolia which has eight marble porticos.

A small patterned garden which is actually known as relaxing spot is Saheliyon-ki-Bari. This is the garden where royal ladies gathered for stroll. There are many fountains at this garden.

An old capital of Sisodias is Ahar which is three kilometers from the city centre which comprises of the extensively rare compilation of antiques which includes iron objects, earthen pots, art items, etc.
